Jackie Chambers opened S.T.A.R.S. Dance Studio 20 years ago to share her love of dance with the Clarksville area. She began dancing at the age of 3 with Mindy Jimerson at Dancin' Feet. With love and support from her family, friends and students Jackie has been able to build a magnificent studio that allows her students to be true "STARS."
"My dancers are my heroes. They help me to be a better teacher and friend. We are growing together, not just with dance but in life. I wanted to share the way I feel when I dance with future dancers. Dancing comes from the soul and allows the true star quality to shine. I want dance to be about art and dancers who enjoy it every day. My heart grows each day for every one of my "STARS" as they grow."

Hey my S.T.A.R.S. Family! My name is Emily! I’m happily married to the love of my life and a mama of 3 beautiful girls. I met Jackie and was introduced to S.T.A.R.S. Dance studio in 2017 when I was looking for a place for my oldest to experience the wonderful world of dance! I’m originally from California. I moved to TN in 2008, them left for 4 years and moved back in 2016. Before I married my husband, I started dance at 2 years old and dance until I was in my 20’s. I was able to dance competitively and for several professional dance teams in California. I was also offered several dance jobs in L.A. and Las Vegas. I ultimately to become a mama and put that on hold. Fast forward; now all 3 of my girls dance for Miss Jackie and we couldn’t be happier. I love the growth they have experienced as competitive dancers. I love the atmosphere Miss Jackie has developed here at S.T.A.R.S. I am more than thankful and blessed to be a part of it. We are truly a family and support the growth and development of each child. The love, friendships and confidence that dance can support in a safe environment! We can’t wait for you and our be apart of this journey!

Hi there! My name is Jessica Shearon, I am 27 years old & have lived in Clarksville my whole life. I am a mom to two sweet boys, Vincent (5) & Lennox (2) and with the love of my life , Jacob! I started dance at the ripe age of 6 under Jackie’s wing and fell in love with it. I started with Jackie when she was teaching in her parents bonus room, and have been with her every step of the way to where we are now! I have been in numerous competitions, and have won so many awards including being a National Title Holder in 2014. I found a strong love for the genres of Jazz & Contemporary and I cannot think of a better job than to pass my passion on to the younger generations. I grow very strong and deep connections with each and everyone of my students and their parents. It is truly what S.T.A.R.S. is built on, family and love. I hope that each of my student is able to find a love for dance, just as I did. My goal is to not only teach them dance, but teach them friendship, confidence, and make sure they always have a happy, exciting and safe learning environment. I have been here the whole 20 years this lovely studio has been open, and I can’t wait to see where the next 20 years takes us!
