Jackie Chambers opened S.T.A.R.S. Dance Studio 18 years ago to share her love of dance with the Clarksville area. She began dancing at the age of 3 with Mindy Jimerson at Dancin' Feet. With love and support from her family, friends and students Jackie has been able to build a magnificent studio that allows her students to be true "STARS."
"My dancers are my heroes. They help me to be a better teacher and friend. We are growing together, not just with dance but in life. I wanted to share the way I feel when I dance with future dancers. Dancing comes from the soul and allows the true star quality to shine. I want dance to be about art and dancers who enjoy it every day. My heart grows each day for every one of my "STARS" as they grow."

Jessica Ortiz - Full Assistance Teacher
My name is Jessica Ortiz aka Jess. I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old. I danced with stars competitively until I graduated Montgomery central high school. I’m currently in beauty school to become a cosmetologist and I’m also in the Air National Guard. I love to dance, especially in my pointe shoes. Ballet has always had a special place in my heart and it has been a passion I can’t let go of. I have had the chance to study ballet in Germany under great teachers and also many instructors here in the U.S. I’m very excited to start teaching the little stars classes! I hope I can pass on my love of ballet and technique I have learned over the years to the rising stars.
